We all know the struggle: you pour a beautiful batch of goat milk soap, but the natural sugars heat up and turn your batter... well, orange.

While the frozen milk method helps, sometimes you just need that extra boost to get a truly neutral, bright white canvas. That is where Titanium Dioxide comes in. This is the exact pigment you need to "reset" your soap base, making it bright enough to stand alone or making your other mica colors pop (instead of looking muddy against a tan background!).

Why I keep this in my soap room:

• Saves the Color: It neutralizes that natural yellow/tan tint from the milk sugars.

• Boosts Your Design: If you want pastel swirls or crisp layers, you need a white base.

• Easy to Use: A little goes a long way.

Shanna’s "No-Speckle" Tip: Titanium Dioxide is a heavy pigment and loves to clump. To avoid white speckles in your final bar, don't dump the powder straight into your batter!

• Pre-mix it: Take a small scoop of TD and mix it with a splash of lightweight liquid oil (or water, depending on your recipe preference) using a mini-frother.

• Blend it: Make sure it is completely smooth before pouring it into your main soap pot.
